Flood appointed to run Shelbourne on caretaker basis

Finbarr Flood has been appointed to run Shelbourne on a caretaker basis as the club's chief executive recovers from illness.

Ollie Byrne took ill earlier this week.

The Shels management committee appointed Mr Flood to temporarily take charge of affairs last night.

It also decided to take moves to stabilise the club's affairs in the coming days.
