Shels boss Byrne hospitalised after 'major health scare'

Shelbourne chief executive Ollie Byrne has been hospitalised overnight as a result of an undisclosed illness.

Reports this morning say he suffered a "major health scare", but the nature of his illness has not been revealed.

Shelbourne have been suffering a financial crisis in recent weeks, which has seen virtually the entire squad leave the league-winning club.
