Drogba and Carvalho return for Blues

Chelsea are boosted by the return from suspension of top scorer Didier Drogba and defender Ricardo Carvalho.

Dutch winger Arjen Robben also returned after a hamstring injury but Geremi was dropped to the substitutes’ bench and Andriy Shevchenko was out with injury.

Wigan made four changes from the side beaten by Portsmouth in the FA Cup last week with goalkeeper Chris Kirkland, Josip Skoko, David Unsworth and Kristofer Haestad all given a place in the starting line-up.
