David Beckham would have joined AC Milan had he chosen to remain in Europe, according to club vice-president Adriano Galliani.

Beckham this week sealed a £128m five-year deal to move to the US with Major League Soccer side LA Galaxy, a switch that will take place after his contract with Real Madrid ends this summer.
