Traore set for Pompey debut

New signing Djimi Traore is set to make his debut at left back for Portsmouth’s Barclays Premiership trip to Sheffield United allowing Matt Taylor to return to his favoured midfield berth.

Benjani Mwaruwari has been declared fit after a hamstring injury but manager Harry Redknapp is expected to start with 10-goal Kanu and former England striker Andrew Cole up front after their goals against Wigan in the FA Cup victory last week.

Lomana LuaLua is back in training after being sidelined since early December with a thigh injury and should be available for selection within two weeks.

Full back Andy Griffin is joining Stoke City for around £275,000 (€415,000) after briefly returning from a three-month loan spell there while centre half Richard Duffy has been loaned back to Swansea.
