Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Argentinian defender Emiliano Insua on an 18-month loan deal.

Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Argentinian defender Emiliano Insua on an 18-month loan deal.

The teenage left-back – who has played for Argentina Under-20s – has moved from Boca Juniors and signed a deal to keep him at Anfield until June 2008.
