Blades end Nugent interest

Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock has given up on signing David Nugent after describing the Preston striker as “outrageously overpriced.”

Warnock has long coveted Nugent and had hoped to land the player in the current transfer window, with the Blades apparently making a recent club record-breaking bid of £6million via instalments.
