Suspensions trim Blades squad

Sheffield United captain Chris Morgan and striker Rob Hulse are both suspended for tomorrow’s FA Cup third-round tie with Swansea at Bramall Lane.

Morgan starts a three-match ban after yesterday being found guilty of violent conduct in an incident involving Robin van Persie, while Hulse is out for one game after picking up five bookings.

Utility man Mikele Leigertwood is also unavailable with a calf injury, while Paul Gerrard will continue to deputise in goal in the absence of Paddy Kenny (groin) and Ian Bennett (broken finger).
