Irish striker Anthony Stokes admits he is unlikely to extend his successful loan spell with Falkirk.

Stokes leads the SPL goalscoring charts after finding the net 14 times.

The 18-year-old Arsenal player has attracted interest from Celtic and Sunderland, with Charlton also reportedly in the hunt.

He netted his third hat-trick of the season on Saturday in Falkirk's 3-1 win over Inverness Caledonian Thistle, but his initial loan period has now expired.

"I honestly don't know where my future lies," Stokes said in the Daily Express newspaper. "My deal with Falkirk has expired and it hasn't been renewed. So it's a case now of waiting to see what Arsenal want to do and I guess I'll take it from there.

"Even if I do leave the club - which looks likely now - I will always be proud of that achievement."
