Parker not for sale, insists Magpies boss

Newcastle boss Glenn Roeder has warned Premiership clubs not to try to lure skipper Scott Parker from St James’ Park.

The 26-year-old England international, who scored the Magpies third goal in the 3-1 win over Tottenham on Saturday, is the subject of speculation that he could be involved in a swap for West Ham’s Nigel Reo-Coker.
