Kiev claim defender close to Blackburn switch

Dynamo Kiev defender Andriy Nesmachnyi is to have a medical at Blackburn ahead of a proposed move to the Premiership club, according to the Ukrainian side’s sporting director Leonid Buryak.

“Andriy left the club for England (on Tuesday morning),” Buryak said.
