Magnusson promises patience for new Hammers boss

West Ham chairman Eggert Magnusson has vowed to be “very patient” with new manager Alan Curbishley – and back him with the money to turn things around at Upton Park.

The Hammers are currently entrenched in the relegation zone of the Barclays Premiership, and host leaders Manchester United this afternoon.
