John Terry has denied a Football Association charge of improper conduct, following comments made about referee Graham Poll following his sending off in Chelsea’s match at Tottenham.

The England captain has requested a personal hearing with the FA after claiming Poll gave him conflicting reasons for his second yellow card in the Blues’ defeat at White Hart Lane on November 5.
