Celtic captain Neil Lennon is ready to apologise to Aiden McGeady after their astonishing spat which blighted the Hoops’ 2-1 win over Dunfermline in the Bank of Scotland Premier League on Sunday.

The Irishman clashed with McGeady and had to be separated by Celtic substitute Evander Sno after they conceded a late goal to Pars midfielder Stephen Simmons.
