Referee Mark Halsey has confirmed to the Football Association that he did see Aston Villa striker Juan Pablo Angel's alleged elbow on Sheffield United captain Chris Morgan during last night's 2-2 draw at Bramall Lane.

Referee Mark Halsey has confirmed to the Football Association that he did see Aston Villa striker Juan Pablo Angel's alleged elbow on Sheffield United captain Chris Morgan during last night's 2-2 draw at Bramall Lane.

Under FIFA regulations, the FA are therefore unable to take any retrospective action.
