Outgoing eircom League chairman Paddy McCaul was elected unopposed as chairman of the new FAI National League at the First Annual Convention of the organisation at the Park Plaza Hotel in Tyrrelstown, Dublin tonight.

Outgoing eircom League chairman Paddy McCaul was elected unopposed as chairman of the new FAI National League at the First Annual Convention of the organisation at the Park Plaza Hotel in Tyrrelstown, Dublin tonight.

In an election contest with Kilkenny City’s Caroline Rhatigan, outgoing eircom League treasurer Eamon Naughton (Galway United) was elected to the position of vice-chairman.
