Dyer misses Rovers trip

Newcastle midfielder Kieron Dyer will miss tomorrow’s Barclays Premiership trip to Blackburn despite returning to training today.

But the 27-year-old has been pencilled in to play against Watford next weekend after being given the go-ahead to resume following his thigh injury.
