New deal for Reading's Murty

Reading defender Graeme Murty has signed a new contract which will keep him at the Madejski Stadium until the end of the 2007/08 season.

The 32-year-old’s current contract was due to expire at the end of this season but the Scotland international has been integral to the Royals’ fine start in the Barclays Premiership which sees the Berkshire club sitting eighth in the table.
