League want video assistance for refs

The Premier League want FIFA to introduce video replays to help referees decide if the ball has crossed the goal-line.

The International Football Board, which controls the laws of the game, will meet in January and consider a proposal from the Premier League, who also hope to extend the use of technology to cover off-the-ball incidents and penalty appeals.
