Sligo and Bray share points
Bray Wanderers 1 Sligo Rovers 1
Liam Burns earned 10-man Sligo a point as they impressed new boss Rob McDonald at the Carlisle Grounds.
Andrei Georgescu displayed his predatory instinct to give Bray a 24th minute lead, however.
James O’Shea picked out the run of the little Romanian who slipped the ball home for his sixth goal of the season.
That went against the grain as Sligo were the better side with Paul McTiernan and Fahrudin Kuduzovic coming close.
Rovers appeared to be left with a mountain to climb in the second half after Nigerian striker Choice Aisien was dismissed on 38 minutes following an off the ball clash with Bray defender Chris Deans.
But Rovers deservedly levelled on 56 minutes when defender Burns turned the ball home from a corner.
