Gary Neville is set to provide Manchester United with a major injury boost ahead of this weekend’s trip to Sheffield United.

After his captain aggravated a calf injury in last week’s win at Blackburn, Alex Ferguson immediately withdrew him from the England squad for yesterday’s friendly with Holland and claimed he would not be risked for another fortnight.
