Derry's Kenny confirms move to Dunfermline

Stephen Kenny has been confirmed as the new manager of SPL side Dunfermline Athletic.

The 35-year-old is still in with a shout of leaving Derry on a high as the Candystripes are still within three points of leaders Shelbourne after a 1-0 win away to St Pats.

Kenny has confirmed that he will take up the reins at the SPL side after Derry's eircom League match against Cork, but he said he hopes to return in some capacity for the FAI Cup final against St Pats at the start of December.
