Nolan set for Bolton return

Bolton captain Kevin Nolan is set to return from his three-match suspension as his side seek to stop a run of three successive defeats against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

But boss Sam Allardyce could be left sweating with Nolan’s fiancée Hayley due to give birth over the weekend – leaving his star’s participation in doubt until the last minute.

Allardyce has no new injury worries to contend with but is still without knee-injury victims Joey O'Brien and Ricardo Gardner, both of whom are close to returning to full fitness.
