Hammers wait on Ferdinand, Zamora

West Ham have doubts over centre-back Anton Ferdinand (Achilles) and striker Bobby Zamora (ankle) ahead of tomorrow’s Barclays Premiership trip to Middlesbrough.

George McCartney could be asked to fill in after coming off the bench during the win over Arsenal, but Wales international James Collins is also pressing for a start.

Striker Dean Ashton remains a long-term absentee as he continues recovery from a broken ankle.
