Tottenham centre-back Michael Dawson has suffered a hip injury and is a concern for the Barclays Premiership clash against Chelsea at White Hart Lane on Sunday.

Tottenham centre-back Michael Dawson has suffered a hip injury and is a concern for the Barclays Premiership clash against Chelsea at White Hart Lane on Sunday.

Dawson took the knock in the UEFA Cup victory over Club Bruges but played on against the Belgian side.

Paul Stalteri (knee), Calum Davenport (groin) and Lee Young-Pyo (ankle) are out of the clash against the champions, while Teemu Tainio (hernia/foot) and Steed Malbranque (hernia) are stepping up their recovery from injury.

Provisional squad: Robinson, Cerny, Chimbonda, Dawson, Gardner, King, Assou-Ekotto, Davids, Jenas, Lennon, Huddlestone, Ziegler, Murphy, Defoe, Mido, Keane, Berbatov, Zokora, Ghaly.
