Still no Nolan for Bolton

Bolton captain Kevin Nolan is still suspended as his side look to avoid their their third consecutive Barclays Premiership defeat against Wigan at the Reebok Stadium.

Boss Sam Allardyce, who will again hand Gary Speed the captain’s armband in Nolan’s absence, has no fresh injury concerns but expects to still be without Quinton Fortune (calf).

Knee injury victims Joey O’Brien and Ricardo Gardner are still out. Jamaican international Gardner returned to full training this week but is still some way off match fitness.
