Heskey doubt for Wigan

Emile Heskey is expected to recover from a thigh injury in time to lead Wigan’s attack in their north-west derby clash with Bolton at the Reebok Stadium.

The Latics record signing limped out of last week’s win at Fulham but has responded to treatment and should partner Henri Camara, who scored Wigan’s winner at Craven Cottage.

Providing Heskey is fit, manager Paul Jewell is likely to name an unchanged side with Josip Skoko and Antonio Valencia (both hamstring) and Fitz Hall (ankle) all definitely out.
