Cotterill crowned manager of the month

Burnley’s Steve Cotterill has been named Coca-Cola Championship manager of the month for October after guiding his unfancied side to third place in the table.

The Clarets remained unbeaten during the calendar month, claiming two draws and four wins, including an exhilarating 3-2 derby triumph over fellow promotion-challengers Preston.
