Pardew not getting carried away

West Ham manager Alan Pardew was quick to put yesterday’s 2-1 victory over Blackburn into perspective and declared: “We have still got a lot of battling to do”.

The Hammers ended their eight-match losing streak with goals from Teddy Sheringham and Hayden Mullins to move out of the bottom three in the Barclays Premiership.
