Novo rescues points for Rangers

A late goal from Nacho Novo handed Rangers a much-needed 3-2 win at St Mirren in the SPL today.

Saints took an early lead through John Sutton but that was cancelled out by Charlie Adam before Thomas Buffel fired Gers into the lead.

St Mirren were back on level terms again when Sutton netted from the penalty spot, but Novo proved to be the goal hero when he came off the bench to save Rangers from another disastrous SPL result.
