Upson return delayed

Birmingham central defender Matthew Upson has been forced to delay his comeback until the middle of November.

The England player had been pencilled in to return in a reserve-team game on October 8 after recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon sustained in the warm-up before the derby at Aston Villa in April.
