City bid to keep Euro dream alive

Cork City manager Damien Richardson has conceded defeat in the title race but his team remain in the hunt for European qualification and need victory tonight against Sligo Rovers.

With all contract talks put off until the end of the season, a number of players are effectively playing to stay at the club.

Danny Murphy, who has already agreed to join Motherwell, could miss out with an ankle injury along with John O’Flynn but Neale Horgan is back from suspension.

Sligo Rovers, meanwhile, will be without John O’Hara (flu), Harpal Singh (hamstring) and Chris Turner (suspension).
