No movement on Hammers takeover front

West Ham’s takeover saga continues to rumble on after the club rejected suggestions a deal was imminent on Eggert Magnusson’s proposed £75m (€111.5m) bid.

The Icelandic businessman is understood to have improved his offer to the club’s directors rejected his initial approach.
