Old Firm date confirmed

The second Old Firm derby of the season will be played on Sunday, December 17 with a 12.30pm kick-off.

Celtic will make the short journey across Glasgow to Ibrox where Gers boss Paul Le Guen will be looking to avenge the 2-0 defeat last month.

A number of Bank of Scotland Premier League clubs have also delayed their New Year’s Day fixtures by 24 hours to give players a longer break after games on December 30.

The matches between Dundee United and Falkirk, Dunfermline and Hearts plus Aberdeen’s trip to Hibernian have all been switched to January 2 with 3pm kick-offs.
