Duff stunned by 'shocking' Republic display

Damien Duff slammed the Republic of Ireland’s humiliating defeat to Cyprus last night as “absolutely shocking”.

Manager Steve Staunton’s Ireland were embarrassingly beaten 5-2 by Cyprus in a Euro 2008 qualifier at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia to all but end their hopes of reaching the finals in Switzerland and Austria.
