Burnley striker Lafferty, 19, and Manchester United defender Evans, 18, gave mature displays in the shock victory against Spain.

Lafferty linked up well with hat-trick hero David Healy while Evans – on loan at Royal Antwerp – was solid at the back.

Sanchez has named a 20-man squad full of familiar names and they flew out to Copenhagen today to continue their preparations for the game against Denmark.

Birmingham midfielder Damien Johnson returns to the squad after sitting out the opening two qualifiers through suspension.

Meanwhile influential captain Aaron Hughes looks certain to win his 50th cap on Saturday.
