Barnwell expects Worthington to return

League Managers’ Association (LMA) chief executive John Barnwell has backed Nigel Worthington to bounce back from his sacking by Norwich and paid tribute to the Canaries for the way they have handled his departure.

The Irishman had his contract terminated by City after Sunday’s 4-1 home defeat to Burnley, bringing to an end his near six-year stint at the club.
