Cork have six appeal
Cork climbed up to second in the Eircom Premier Division after a 6-0 hammering of basement club Bray.
The home side needed just seven minutes to open the scoring through Roy O’Donovan before Dan Murray doubled their lead two minutes later.
Billy Woods made it 3-0 after 27 minutes with Murray adding his second of the match shortly before the interval.
O’Donovan then made it a night to remember for Cork with goals in the 49th and 66th minutes completing his hat-trick and the rout.
The win moves Cork five points behind leaders Shelbourne, who have a game in hand, while Bray remain at the foot of the table with just two wins in 24 matches.
