Spurs have injury problems

Coach Martin Jol’s preparations for Tottenham’s UEFA Cup first-round second-leg tie against Slavia Prague have been ruined by fresh injuries to Jermain Defoe, Edgar Davids, Paul Stalteri and captain Ledley King.

Defoe is definitely out with an ankle injury, and his fellow striker Dimitar Berbatov is also missing with a groin strain. Stalteri is doubtful with a hamstring problem – while midfielder Davids is out with an ankle injury. Tom Huddlestone, Phil Ifil and Calum Davenport are added to the squad.

Team (from): Robinson, Cerny, Chimbonda, Stalteri, Davenport, Dawson, King, Lee, Assou-Ekotto, Jenas, Zokora, Huddlestone, Tainio, Ziegler, Mido, Keane, Murphy, Ifil, Ghaly.
