Shels pull clear after win over Longford
Shelbourne 2 Longford Town 0
Shelbourne pulled four points clear at the top of the table after an easy win over Longford tonight.
Shels had the perfect start as they tore Longford apart to take a seventh minute lead. Joseph Ndo and Bobby Ryan missed chances before Ndo’s cross picked out Gary O’Neill who didn’t miss.
Mick Dempsey kept Longford in it until the 65th minute when Shels doubled their lead.
Ndo was involved again as he fed O’Neill to cross for Glen Crowe to score for the fourth game running.
