Former Arsenal manager Terry Neill believes the deadline-day move for William Gallas will help the Gunners push for Premiership success – although he branded the saga “disrespectful” to football.

Gallas signed from champions Chelsea with Ashley Cole moving the other way, with both players appearing unsettled last season before the deal was completed.
