Shelbourne leapfrogged Derry City to assume the lead of the Eircom League with a last-minute winner from Glen Crowe in a 3-2 victory at Bray.

It looked to be going badly wrong for the visitors when Colm Tresson (33) and Michael Roche (36) put Bray 2-0 up at the interval.

But Greg O’Halloran scored two minutes into the second half, Barry Ryan levelled after 65 minutes and Crowe netted at the death.

Drogheda missed their chance to move level with Derry after squandering a two-goal lead in a 2-2 draw at midtable Bohemians.

Damien Lynch converted a 66th-minute penalty and Declan O’Brien doubled Drogheda’s advantage five minutes later.

Bohemians’ Fergal Harkin pulled one back in the 77th minute before Aiden O’Keefe snatched a point a minute from time.

Elsewhere, Waterford registered their first win of the season at the 21st attempt away to St Patricks thanks to Paul Crowley’s strike in the opening minute.
