Spurs' Chimbonda bid accepted

Tottenham have finally had a bid accepted for Wigan defender Pascal Chimbonda having pursued the French full-back throughout the summer.

The Latics have confirmed Spurs’ “improved fee” has been accepted and Chimbonda has been given permission to speak to Tottenham.
