Portsmouth have signed veteran striker Andy Cole from Manchester City on a two-year contract.

The 34-year-old former England international passed his medical last night after Pompey agreed to pay City a fee which is officially undisclosed, but is believed will rise to £1m (€1.48m) depending on his appearances for his new club.
