Wigan unchanged for Reading clash

Wigan manager Paul Jewell named an unchanged side for the visit of Reading today, guaranteeing milestones for captain Arjan de Zeeuw and Emile Heskey.

In leading out the side, centre-back De Zeeuw was making his 400th career league appearance, while striker Heskey hit the half-century mark of league matches.

With Ibrahima Sonko suspended following his dismissal in the 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa on Wednesday, Reading manager Steve Coppell made just the one change, bringing in Sam Sodje.

Wigan: Kirkland, Boyce, Hall, De Zeeuw, Baines, Valencia, Scharner, Landzaat, McCulloch, Camara, Heskey.
