No debut yet for Anelka

Bolton’s new signing Nicolas Anelka will watch from the stands as his new team-mates take on winless Charlton at The Valley today.

The transfer of the former Arsenal and Manchester City striker was not completed in time for Anelka to make his debut this afternoon, so it will be left to Kevin Davies and Henrik Pedersen to lead the line for the visitors.
