Murphy considering move to Motherwell

Danny Murphy is on the verge of clinching a move to SPL side Motherwell.

The 23-year-old Cork City defender has attracted the interest of 'Well boss Maurice Malpas who tabled an offer yesterday.

Currently eight points off the top of the table, Cork want to keep the side together for the rest of the season for their title surge.

But, that fear is countered by the fact that Murphy can walk away on a free at the end of the season.
