Real Madrid are poised to sign Mahamadou Diarra from Lyon after settling on a fee for the midfielder with his French club.

Real Madrid are poised to sign Mahamadou Diarra from Lyon after settling on a fee for the midfielder with his French club.

The Ligue 1 champions made the announcement on their club website, www.olweb.fr, and the 25-year-old Mali international is now set to discuss personal terms with Madrid, who will reportedly pay €26m.
