Longford maintained their revival with a sixth match - and a sixth clean sheet - without defeat as St. Pat’s were left to rue the best chances at Richmond park.

Striker Chris Armstrong was the Saints’ culprit heading wide on 21 minutes to waste the best opening of the first half.

Stephen Quigley then set up Armstrong on 52 minutes and the big striker again headed wide with only Mick Dempsey to beat.
