Leeds chairman Ken Bates is waiting to see whether he faces any action over alleged racial discrimination after his former club Chelsea lodged a formal complaint with the Football Association.

The Premiership champions filed the complaint regarding the words used by Bates to describe the Blues board when he accused them of trying to poach three of his club’s Academy players.
